Welcome to Investing On-Line! On the World Wide Web there are lots of sites offering investing information and services. This site does not claim to give any investment advice but aims to make your search and journey through those sites easier. Simply choose one of the categories listed below to see a list of sites which have personally been visited and evaluated by myself. I would have given each site a percentage mark but it's difficult to be subjective about sites and to say how useful they are likely to be, as different people prefer different things. However I have listed the sites on the pages in order of my preference and how useful I think they will be, with the most useful site in my opinion being at the top of the page. Because I am listing only the most useful sites, I have listed only about 10 - 20 sites with links per category, a brief explanation of the site and how to use it will follow underneath. These sites are a good place to start if you are a beginner to investing and it's terms and practices. Financial News and Information and Share Price Services This page contains a list of the sites which offer on-line up-to-the-minute financial news and information. As well as share price services and company information. Some of the better sites offer on-line graphing and tracking of shares and the option to keep an on-line portfolio and archives of information and business searches. All these tools help the investor or speculator who wishes to invest. On-line Dealing and Share Price Services That Facilitate On-Line Dealing This page contains a list of sites where deals can be made on-line and sites which give information on share-prices which will buy and sell shares for you also. This page contains a list of sites which give information on and some offer on-line registration for the newest type of tax-free savings account, as well as similar types of investment such as Trusts and Unit trusts.
